Michiel worked with Versuz, a former club in Hasselt, for more than five years and currently works in event management for FRAME. His experience combines production, stage management, artist operations, marketing and practical on-site coordination.

He has led teams of 45+ people, produced independent events for 1,000+ visitors without external production partners, and has managed events reaching up to 13,000 visitors.

Freedom Stage.

In 2026, Michiel worked stage management at the Tomorrowland Freedom Stage together with his technical team mate across both festival weekends. The role sat right at the intersection of artists, production, technical departments, timings and live show execution.

Freedom hosted major international acts throughout the 2026 edition, making it a high-pressure environment where communication, timing and technical coordination had to stay sharp from doors to close.

Live show & performersExperience coordinating dancers, fire breathers, stilt walkers and aerial acts, including moving show constructions with performers suspended at height.
Showcalling & SFXExperience showcalling live special effects and cue-driven moments, including flames, Sparkular effects, fireworks, indoor pyrotechnics and line rockets, in coordination with technical and production teams.
Stage managementTomorrowland Freedom Stage 2026, Full Circle, Ostend Beach, Rampage, Kamping Kitch, Vaag Outdoor, Trix Antwerp, Reset Brussels and more.
Tour managementExperience tour managing bands and DJs across the Benelux, including advancing, pre-production, travel and schedule coordination, artist logistics, venue liaison and on-site show coordination.
4+ yearsOngoing stage management experience across festivals, venues, club events and live productions.
Event managementEvent management for FRAME, covering both the preparation and on-site delivery of events, from planning and coordination through to show day.
